Dunning Circle Car vs Houses
At 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday January 16th, Local members responded to a reported explosion on Dunning Circle in Highlands Ranch. As crews were responding additional 911 callers reported a vehicle left the roadway and struck a house. When members arrived, they found 2 homes with significant structural damage and the driver of the vehicle with serious injuries. Read More...
Highlands Ranch Basketball Game
On the evening Wednesday January 9th, a small group local members put their athletic skills to the test during a basketball game with the Highlands Ranch Community Association, Therapeutic Recreation Southridge Nuggets Team. South Metro and Littleton Firefighters celebrated New Years Day at Firehouse 11 with a historic assumption of command ceremony. Elected officials, chief officers, honor guard, pipes & drums and family members were in attendance as Interim Chief Jeff Tasker transferred command to Chief Bob Baker. Trenton Way Multi Family Structure Fire
At 8:08 p.m. on Sunday December 30th, Local members responded to numerous 911 reports of an apartment building on fire at 2172 S. Trenton Way in Arapahoe County. At 8:16 a.m. on Sunday December 16th, Local members responded to a house fire at 3700 Willamette Lane in Greenwood Village. Upon arrival members encountered heavy smoke pushing out of an outdoor chimney, surrounding attic and roof space adjacent to the home. Read More...
Briargrove Way Structure Fire
At 7:29 p.m. on Saturday December 15th Local members responded to numerous 911 reports of a garage fire on Briargrove Way in Highlands Ranch. First arriving Engine and Medic 17 reported a fully engulfed 3-car garage and began attacking the flames which were already reaching above the second floor.
