Maplehurst Dr. Structure Fire
Just before 4:40 on Sunday March 22nd, Local members responded to a working residential fire in the 400 block of Maplehurst Drive in Unincorporated Douglas County. Initial reports stated a garage was on fire with heavy brown and gray smoke showing. Safety 18 arrived on scene and confirmed this was a working fire in a single carport attached garage to the house. Northampton Ct. Structure Fire
At 4:34 p.m. on Friday, March 20, 2020, Local members responded to Northampton Court in Highlands Ranch after a 911 caller reported a fire inside the house. First arriving units from Station 18 found no signs of smoke or fire visible from the street when they arrived. Saybrook St. Structure Fire
Just before 3:40 p.m. on Monday, March 9th, Local members responded to a reported house fire in the 9700 block of Saybrook Street in Unincorporated Douglas County. Initial reports from the homeowner stated there was smoke in the the home, but no active fire. When members from Engine 17 arrived on scene they found a working fire in the basement. Read More...
Dry Creek Ct. Vehicle into Building
At 9:10 on Monday February 17th, Local members responded to a call for a car into a building on W. Dry Creek Ct. in Littleton. When members arrived on scene, they found a car had crashed through the front doors of The Boardroom Sports Bar and Steakhouse. The car was still running inside the business, but the driver was nowhere to be found. Littleton Police also arrived on scene to investigate. Read More...
New Engine 44 In Service Ceremony
After a decade of responding to emergencies, over 8,000 engine hours and 93,000 miles, Engine 44 was replaced with a brand new 2019 Pierce Velocity today. Members filled the 750 gallon tank with water from the old engine, gave the new rig a water cannon salute and did a traditional push in ceremony. Around 3:45am Monday, January 13th Local members responded to a house fire in the 3600 block of S. Downing St. in Cherry Hills Village. When members arrived on scene they found a house fully involved in fire and immediately began fighting the fire defensively from the outside of the structure. Read More...
