On February 18, 2019 at approximately 15:05 Aurora 911 dispatched Aurora Fire Rescue to a residential structure fire at 22225 E. Glasgow Pl. near the Saddle Rock Golf Course in southeast Aurora. Dispatch alerted units en route that 911 caller reporting that the fire started in the garage and the house is now on fire. MetCom also dispatched out South Metro Fire Rescue to a full structure fire response. Truck 14 arrived to a 2-story single family structure with heavy fire and half the home involvement, secured their own water supply and started a primary search. Engine 13 arrived and pulled a 2 1/2 off Truck 14. Battalion 3 arrived and assumed command with a fully involved garage, assigned Engine 5 for exposure protection on the Bravo side and Engine 10 to assist Truck 14 with search. Crews worked heavy fire and were on scene about two hours battling the blaze, mopping up hot spots and ventilating the structure. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
