Mercury Dr. Structure Fire
Posted On: Jun 30, 2019

At 4:45 p.m. on Sunday June 30th, a home was struck by a bolt of lightning that ignited an attic fire at 13144 Mercury Drive in Douglas County. The occupant of the home dialed 911 and used a fire extinguisher to control the flames. Local members arrived a short time later and helped extinguish all of the hot spots. Thankfully no injuries occurred, and the damage was isolated to the garage.
