Ida Circle Structure Fire

At 2:26 a.m. on Monday June 8th, Local members responded to reports of a house on fire in the 5800 block of S. Paris Court in Arapahoe County. When members arrived, they found 2 homes burning at 11925 and 11945 E. Ida Circle and a 2nd Alarm was called for. As ACSO Deputies worked on evacuating the structures, members deployed a hose line and controlled intense flames on the exterior of the houses. Once the main body of fire was darkened down, members deployed hose lines into both homes to search for occupants and fire extension. Fire spread into the attic of both structures and was quickly extinguished. Thankfully no injuries occurred, and investigators determined that spontaneous combustion of an oil staining tarp and rags caused the fire. Thank you to Arapahoe Rescue Patrol, Inc. volunteers for support on scene.
