Lisbon Ct. Structure Fire

Just after 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, MetCom received multiple calls for a residential structure fire near E Kenyon Place and Lisbon Court. Incoming units confirmed a smoke plume was visible and upgraded the response to a confirmed working fire. Upon arrival, units saw heavy flames coming from the back of the home and confirmed that the family and their pet had evacuated. Unfortunately, two citizens were transported to the hospital, both with non-life threatening concerns. Although crews arrived within minutes, the fire quickly spread from the outside to the interior of the home. The fire was so intense that both neighboring homes sustained radiant heat damage, firefighters prevented them from igniting. Multiple hose lines including 2 aerial master streams from “Towers” were used to control the fire. Crews were also challenged by very cold temperatures outside and icy condition on the scene.
