Multi Family Structure Fire
Posted On: Nov 17, 2020

At 8:40 p.m. on Monday, November 16, 2020, Local members responded to an apartment fire at 1039 S. Parker Rd. in Arapahoe County. A vigilant neighbor heard smoke alarms sounding from a nearby apartment, saw smoke coming from the top of the door and dialed 911. First arriving members from Station 21 advanced a hose line through the complex and entered the burning apartment. The fire was quickly controlled, the apartment was thoroughly searched for possible victims and crews determined that no one was home. Members prevented damage to the adjoining apartments and thankfully no one was injured. The SMFR Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
